About IASC
Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication Sector Skill Council (IASC SSC) is an Autonomous Industry lead Not for Profit Organization under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. It is promoted by the Industry with financial support from National Skill Development Corporation. The IASC SSC collaborates with multiple Ministries, Skilling Organizations, and Technical Institutes to foster skill development among India’s youth and address the gap between manpower demand and supply.
IASC SSC role is as follows:
- Identify and develop Skill Manpower Development Plan for the Instrumentation, Automation, Surveillance and Communication sectors.
- Develop National Occupation Standards & Qualification Packs (Skill development Courses) in accordance with National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
- Certify Skilled Manpower under NSQF
- Identify & accredit Training Providers & Assessors for the various courses.
- Plan and facilitate the execution of Training of Trainers along with NSDC and the States.
